Knutsford Extension

Appointed to transform a tired 1970’s dormer bungalow into a modern family home, the Knutsford Extension project involved a complete internal remodel and modern glass extension.

The client’s brief required seamless access out onto the garden. The incorporation of a steel beam, spanning the entire width of the property allowed us to eliminate the supporting column from the corner of the glazed sliding doors, without the complications and expense of a cantilever. The result is a dramatic extension, which visually ties in the garage back to the house, whilst offering an uninterupted connection between the new dining area and gardens beyond. The project is currently on site, due for completion in 2021.
